My recent work consists of small-scale oil paintings that blur the boundaries between abstraction and figuration. Based purely on memory, they are each fictional universes that explore ideas of interconnectivity and dependence.

Seen from a variety of vantage points, these depictions of webs, crowds, nests, braids and piles, question the ways close interactions can affect meaning and how individual parts work together to create a new whole.
